Jennifer Conner is a best-selling Northwest author who has over sixty short stories and books in ebook, print, and audiobooks. She writes in Christmas Romance, Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Historical Romance, and Erotica.
She lives in a hundred year old house that she grew up in. Her semi-small town holds an interesting mix of resident hillbillies, yuppies and Navy Seals. And of course Seattle, only a few miles away, is the birthplace of Starbucks so coffee is always on the check list. She blows glass beads with a blow torch, (which relieves a lot of stress and people don’t bother you) and is a huge fan of musicals.
KATHY L WHEELER (a.k.a Kae Elle Wheeler) graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BA in Management Information Systems that includes a Vocal Minor. She is an avid theater buff (holds season tickets to Broadway Series in OKC), loves the NFL and NBA (also holds season tickets to Thunder Basketball in OKC), loves travel, people and karaoke.
Kathy/Kae lives with her musically talented husband in Edmond, Oklahoma, has one grown daughter who recently had a baby, and one bossy cat!
LISA SCOTT is a former TV news anchor who now enjoys making up stories instead of sticking to the facts. She’s worked in Bangor, ME, Rochester, NY and Buffalo, NY. She lives in upstate NY with her husband, two children, dog, cat, and koi fish. When not writing, she works as a voice actor.
She writes romance (Flirts! short story collections, and The Willowdale Romance Series) along with middle grade fiction for children.
Her debut middle grade novel, School of Charm, will be released by Katherine Tegen Books, an imprint of HarperCollins, in early 2014.
CAROLINE CLEMMONS is an Amazon bestselling author of historical and contemporary western romances whose books have garnered numerous awards. Her latest release is GABE KINCAID, book four of her popular Kincaid series. A frequent speaker at conferences and seminars, she has taught workshops on characterization, point of view, and layering a novel.
Caroline and her husband live in the heart of Texas cowboy country with their menagerie of rescued pets. Prior to writing full time, her jobs included stay-at-home mom (her favorite), secretary, newspaper reporter and featured columnist, assistant to the managing editor of a psychology journal, bookkeeper for the local tax assessor and–for a short and fun time–an antique dealer. When she’s not indulging her passion for writing, Caroline enjoys reading, travel, antiquing, genealogy, painting, getting together with friends, and enjoying watching the birds, butterflies, and squirrels wandering through her back yard. Find her on her blog, website, Facebook, Twitter, Shelfari, Goodreads, and Pinterest.
JOAN REEVES is a NY Times and USA Today bestselling author of Contemporary Romance. She began her career with New York traditional publishers. When the Amazon Kindle came along, she happily embraced a new career path as an independent author/publisher.
Joan lives her happily ever after with her hero, her husband, in the Lone Star State. They have four kids who think they are adults and a ghost dog–all the ingredients for a life full of love and warmed by laughter. She lives the philosophy that is the premise of all of her romance novels: “It’s never too late to live happily ever after.”
INES JOHNSON writes books for strong women who suck at love. If you rocked out to the twisted triangle of Jem, Jericha, and Rio as a girl; if you were slayed by vampires with souls alongside Buffy; if you need your scandolous fix from Olivia Pope each week, then you’ll love her books!
Aside from being a writer, professional reader, and teacher, Ines is a very bad Buddhist. She sits in sangha each week, and while others are meditating and getting their zen on, she’s contemplating how to use the teachings to strengthen her plots and character motivations.
Ines lives outside Washington, DC with her two little sidekicks who are growing up way too fast.
SHARON KLEVE was born and raised in Washington and currently lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband. Sharon is a multi-published author of paranormal and contemporary romance. She loves romance. She loves reading romance, living romance, and especially loves writing about romance. Sharon gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other’s arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve–with a few bumps and bruises along the way.
One of her favorite things to do is pick-up a new book and sinking into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors inspired her.
When not writing, she can usually be found either curled up in her recliner with her cat and a good book, or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or bagels.

She writes contemporary women’s fiction, often involving romance with suspense or a supernatural twist. She claims ‘Killing Jenna Crane’, a romantic thriller and ‘Unworkers’ a modern ghost story/women’s fiction are her personal favourites to date. Jina Bacarr discovered early on that she inherited the gift of gab from her large Irish family when she penned a story about a princess who ran away to Paris with her pet turtle Lulu. She was twelve. She grew up listening to their wild, outlandish fairy tales and it was those early years of storytelling that led to her love of all things royal. She adores dark chocolate truffles, vintage anything, the smell of bread baking and rainy days in museums. She’s always loved walking through history—from Pompeii to Verdun to Old Paris. The voices of the past speak to her through carriages with cracked leather seats, stiff ivory-colored crinolines and worn satin slippers. She’s always wondered what it was like to walk in those slippers when they were new. Especially glass slippers.
Sidney Bristol – It can never be said that NYT and USA Today bestselling author Sidney Bristol has had a ‘normal’ life. She is a recovering roller derby queen, former missionary, fairy tale fanatic, tattoo addict and board game enthusiast. She grew up in a motor-home on the US highways (with an occasional jaunt into Canada and Mexico), traveling the rodeo circuit with her parents. She often dreamed of riding off to battle dragons alongside her knight in shining armor. Sidney has lived abroad in both Russia and Thailand, working with children and teenagers. She now lives in Texas where she spends her time writing, reading, hunting Pokemon, playing board games, wearing tiaras and catering to her furry overlords, aka the cats.
Allie Burton – Allie’s love of happy endings inspired her to write books that star strong heroines who can rescue themselves, but can appreciate a little help from a hero. Lost princesses, superpowers, and magical locations are part of her three different series: Lost Daughters of Atlantis, Soul Warriors, and Castle Ridge.
Sela Carsen – Once upon a time, Sela Carsen realized that what the world needed was more fairy tales. So she started writing. Whether she’s penning paranormal or sci-fi romance, every story is influenced by her nerdy obsession with fairy tales and mythology. From selkies to space-wolves, Norse to Russian to Celtic myths, and fantastic and obscure fairy tales from far flung places, you’ll find that all her tales are Witty, Wild, and Otherworldly.
Andrea R. Cooper – Andrea mixes fairytales and paranormal elements to create a new spin on an old tale. In Fairy Trouble, she puts Cinderella in modern-day times and throws in a new fairy godmother-in-training. Trouble is, Cinderella refuses to go to the ball. Andrea grew up creating characters and stories and hasn’t stopped since.
Amber Daulton – Writing is the fruit of happiness. Amber Daulton lives her life by that one belief even though she normally isn’t so Zen. As the author of Cinderella’s Enchanted Night, she loves fairy tales of all sorts. She also can’t get enough of contemporary, paranormal, and historical romance novels to suit her tastes. She loves feisty heroines, alpha heroes, and putting them through the ringer. Her mind is a wonderland of adventure, laughter, and awesome ways of kicking a guy when he’s down. She probably wouldn’t be too sane without her computer and notebooks. After all, what’s a girl to do when people jabber away in her head and it’s hard to shut them up? Write! Nothing else works.
Rebekah R. Ganiere – Rebekah has always been fascinated by the fairytales of old. Having grown up on Grimm Brothers and Hans Christian Anderson, she decided the best thing for her to do is to take her love of fairytales and mix them with her love of the paranormal and fantasy. Her bestselling, award-winning Fairelle series was born out of those two loves. From vampires and werewolves, to fae and dragons, Fairelle has mixed genres with the classics to come up with a new twist on old tales.
Marie Higgins – Marie is a best-selling, multi-published author of Christian and sweet romance novels; from refined bad-boy heroes who make your heart melt to the feisty heroines who somehow manage to love them regardless of their faults. She loves writing Cinderella themed stories, and so she decided to write a twisted fairy tale collection of romance stories. Keep on Believing (historical Cinderella story), Her Own Fairy Godmother (modern-day Cinderella story), and Once Enchanted are among her favorites. She’s published over 42 heartwarming, on-the-edge-of-your-seat stories and broadened her readership by writing mystery/suspense, humor, time-travel, paranormal, along with her love for historical romances. Her readers have dubbed her “Queen of Tease” because of all her twists and turns and unexpected endings.
Stacy Juba – Bestselling author Stacy Juba, the founder of the Glass Slipper Sisters, got engaged at Epcot Theme Park and spent part of her honeymoon at Disneyland Paris, where she ate a burger, went on fast rides, and threw up on the train ride to the hotel. She is the author of the Storybook Valley chick lit/sweet romance series, which includes Fooling Around With Cinderella, about a reluctant theme park Cinderella, and the upcoming Prancing Around With Sleeping Beauty. She is also the author of the mystery romantic/suspense novels Twenty-Five Years Ago Today and Sink or Swim, the young adult novels Dark Before Dawn and Face-Off, and the children’s picture book The Flag Keeper. Her books have been GalleyCat bestsellers and she has had novels ranked as #5 in the Nook Store and #30 on the Amazon Kindle Paid List. She is also an in-demand freelance editor and teaches on-line classes for writers.
Caroline Lee – USA Today bestselling author Caroline Lee has been reading romance for so long that her fourth-grade teacher used to make her cover her books with paper jackets, but it wasn’t until she (mostly) grew up that she realized she could WRITE it too. So she did. Caroline is living her own little Happily Ever After in NC with her husband, sons, and brand-new daughter, Princess Wiggles. And while she doesn’t so much “suffer” from Pittakionophobia as think all you people who enjoy touching Band-Aids and stickers are the real weirdos, she does adore rodents, and never met a wine she didn’t like. Caroline was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2006 and is really quite funny in person. Promise.
Melissa McClone – USA Today bestselling author, Melissa McClone has published over forty novels and been nominated for Romance Writers of America’s RITA® award. Melissa worked for a major airline where she traveled the globe and met her husband. But analyzing jet engine performance couldn’t compete with her love of writing happily- ever-after stories. She loves writing sweet contemporary romances featuring royalty.
Kelly McClymer – USA Today bestselling author Kelly McClymer fell in love with fairytales at first listen. The Fairy Tale Bride combines three of her favorite things — fairytales, a strong Victorian woman, and a happily-ever-after. The Once Upon a Wedding series continues the theme, with six more books. Look for The Lighthouse Keeper’s Bride next.
Roxanne Snopek – USA Today bestselling author Roxanne Snopek wrote her first fairy-tale book by accident. Cinderella’s Cowboy is the fourth in her Montana Home series, about a hard-working good-girl… who happened to be named Cynthia and have two stepsisters. After that, she had to tell the sisters’ stories, right? The Chocolate Cure and The Chocolate Comeback followed shortly after, in which these well-meaning – if spoiled and thoughtless – young women discover their best selves on the journey to true love. Roxanne’s fictional heroes (like her own real-life hero) are swoon-worthy, uber-responsible, secretly vulnerable and occasionally dough-headed, but animals love them, which makes everything okay. Roxanne writes from British Columbia, Canada, where she is surrounded by flowers, wildlife and two adoring dogs. She looks forward to visits from her three grown “princesses” and does yoga to stay sane. It works…mostly.
MJ Summers – MJ is the queen of her very own castle in Edmonton, Canada, where she rules alongside her handsome prince. Their subjects include three young children and one ridiculously goofy dog. When she’s not writing romance novels, she loves reading (obviously), snuggling up on the couch with her family for movie night (which would not be complete without lots of popcorn and milkshakes), and long walks in the woods near her house. MJ also spends a lot more time thinking about doing yoga than actually doing yoga, which is why most of her photos are taken ‘from above’. She also loves shutting down restaurants with her girlfriends. Well, not literally shutting them down, like calling the health inspector or something. More like just staying until they turn the lights off.
Nicole Zoltack – USA Today Bestselling author Nicole Zoltack has always been a hopeless romantic. Considering she married her first kiss, how can she not be? She is the author of the Once Upon a Darkened Night series, where the villains are now the heroines or heroes.
